"Insidiously simple, compact, and clever, this killer alligator movie, complete with slowly rising floodwaters, is relentless and absolutely terrifying. It's a career best for director Alexandre Aja." - Film School Rejects
When a Category 5 hurricane hits her Florida hometown, Haley (Kaya Scodelario, The Maze Runner) ignores evacuation orders to search for her missing father (Barry Pepper, True Grit). Finding him gravely injured in the crawl space of their family home, the two become trapped by quickly encroaching floodwaters.
As time runs out to escape the strengthening storm, Haley and her father discover that the rising water level is the least of their fears. Vicious alligators have entered their home, and they're on the prowl for fresh meat.
High Tension director Alexandre Aja showcases his talents for suspense and terror in Crawl, a film that brings the horrors of nature to visceral life. Produced by horror-meister, Sam Raimi.
