Dog

"A buddy comedy road movie with some war thrown in as well. And very entertaining to boot."

DOG is a buddy comedy that follows the misadventures of two former Army Rangers paired against their will on the road trip of a lifetime. Army Ranger Briggs (Channing Tatum) and Lulu (a Belgian Malinois dog) buckle into a 1984 Ford Bronco and race down the Pacific Coast in hopes of making it to a fellow soldier's funeral on time. Along the way, they'll drive each other completely crazy, break a small handful of laws, narrowly evade death, and learn to let down their guards in order to have a fighting chance of finding happiness.

"So what if star and co-director Channing Tatum lays on the sniffles in this tale of an Army Ranger and a K9 warrior named Lulu. Theyre both PTSD-scarred combat veterans who try to heal each other and they hit you like a shot in the heart." - Peter Travers, ABC News

"Shows the bond between a soldier and his four-legged companion. It also highlights the reality of veterans with TBIs and PTSD, human and canine alike, who continue to suffer from their injuries." - St. Anthony Messenger

"[Tatum's] command of the role and his confident direction of the picture make 'Dog' a very engaging experience." - The Seattle Times

"Carolin and Tatum's directorial instincts bring a fresh approach to this type of film. It's a pleasure to say that this is one good Dog."- Los Angeles Times

"Dog cannily smuggles a nuanced inquiry of a social issue under the guise of popular entertainment." - Slant Magazine
