Ayan, a Nestlé salesman in Pakistan, takes on the multinational corporation he works for after he realizes the baby formula he is paid to peddle is having deadly consequences. The film is directed by Academy Award-winning director Danis Tanovic (No Man’s Land, 2001) and stars Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi as Ayan.

Tigers is a dramatization of actual events. Syed Aamir Raza, the real life Ayan, now lives in Mississauga with his family. Tracey Wagner-Rizvi, who helped bring his evidence to light and is now a PhD candidate at the Balsillie School of International Affairs and University of Waterloo, is represented in the film as part of composite character Maggie, played by Maryam d’Abo.

Aamir and Tracey will be in attendance and will hold a Question and Answer session following the film.

The Balsillie School is pleased to offer this FREE screening of Tigers (2014) at the Princess Twin Cinema in Uptown Waterloo.

Tickets will not be issued for this free event. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
