Paul Schrader is back with a vengeance with The Card Counter, his feature directorial follow-up to First Reformed. We are thrilled to be opening this film at the Playhouse this weekend!

Starting this weekend, we begin our celebration of the marvelous work of Italian composer, Ennio Morricone, who died in 2020. Morricone brought to cinema some of the most beautiful compositions ever made for film. His music brought an extra depth and dimension to the films for which he composed; he truly was (arguably?) the best. We invite you to be transported watching these films the way they were intended: on the biggest screen with the biggest sound!

On the 30th & 2nd, we're helping animals here in Hamilton with two screenings of Cat Video Fest 2021!
Cat Video Fest is a joyous communal experience, only available in theaters, and raises money for cats in need through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters to best serve cats in the area.
A portion of proceeds are going back towards the Hamilton Burlington SPCA [5].

Ghibli Fest Continues! This week, we have two screenings of the excellent anime film, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. A must-see for all Ghibli fans.
Best Sellers is held over for screenings this week as well. This film has a ton of heart, and it has Michael Caine & Aubrey Plaza; both who are excellent.
