New magic mushroom doc DOSED: THE TRIP OF A LIFETIME plays Saturday with a special Q&A after the screening!

A mother of four is allowed to treat her end-of-life anxiety with psychedelic mushrooms, embarking on a journey of transformation and discovery. Featuring interviews with Dr Gabor Maté, Paul Stamets, Dennis McKenna and many more. 

Q&A Participants: Dr. Daniel Rosenbaum is a Psychiatrist for the University Health Network Psychedelic Studies and also one of the co-founders of the Nikean Psychedelic Psychotherapy Research Centre. Dr. Rosenbaum will be joined by a panel of palliative care clinicians.

New sci-fi SIMULANT explores the implications of advanced artificial intelligence in a future world.

A woman tries to replace her newly deceased husband with an android simulant. To fully realize all his human traits, she enlists Casey (Simu Liu), a hacker whose mission is to remove all restrictions governing simulants' thoughts and capabilities. In doing so, he unleashes an A.I. uprising, triggering a government manhunt led by Agent Kessler (Sam Worthington) who will take extreme measures to eliminate the rise of the android machines.
