Opening the Twin this Friday is Benedict Cumberbatch and Claire Foy in The Electrical Life of Louis Wain. "Stands heads and shoulders above the usual biopic, thanks to Benedict Cumberbatch's performance and a rather whimsical take on its source material" (EW). Louis Wain was many things during his incredible life: artist, inventor, entrepreneur and caretaker. After adopting a stray kitten, he went on to paint the extraordinary images of cats  that made him world famous

Look out for the new 4K restoration of Andrzej Žulawski’s 1981 film Possession, Friday Oct 22 & Sunday Oct 24 at the Original.

Starring Sam Neill and Isabelle Adjani, who won best actress at Cannes for her performance in a tale that is part intense marital drama, part psychotronic horror freakout. It has been exciting over the past few years to see Žulawski’s work reappraised, and this new release of Possession should further stake its place in the contemporary canon.
