FIRST, THE BIG NEWS! WE RE-OPEN ON MONDAY, JANUARY 31!
LICORICE PIZZA, THE TRAGEDY OF MACBETH and NIGHTMARE ALLEY get us started, and then on Feb 4th we re-open the Original with the premiere of RED ROCKET (from Sean Baker, the director of the wonderful Florida Project). Other new films coming very soon include Oscar-contenders FLEE, DRIVE MY CAR and THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD. We have many more films booked, including another chance to see THE POWER OF THE DOG on the big screen.
The Tragedy of Macbeth and Licorice Pizza return to the Twin on January 31!
Let's pick up where we left off, shall we?
"It's one of the most visually striking and leanest versions of 'the Scottish play' ever put on film, with blockbuster performances from Oscar winners Frances McDormand and Denzel Washington as Lady and Lord Macbeth, and a brilliant supporting cast." - Chicago Sun-Times
"Licorice Pizza is an instant classic that brings out the best from some old pros and the brilliant newcomers Cooper Hoffman and Alana Haim." - Chicago Sun-Times
POPCORN PICKUP CONTINUES EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY!
Stop by between 5PM and 9PM for hot buttered popcorn and all your favourite cinema snacks (including local, craft beer.)
Restrictions upon re-opening means we must reduce our capacity by 50% and snacks may not be consumed on site. Not being able to sell snacks is a big financial blow, so supporting Popcorn Pickup is greatly appreciated. We will keep it going every Friday and Saturday during the current restrictions.
We are SO looking forward to re-opening for you on January 31st! Tickets are on sale now for the following films (including our Valentine's film on Feb 14, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS.)
Please be reminded that when coming to see movies, you must show your vaccine certificate with scannable QR code, as well as a photo ID. Thanks!
See you for movies next week, and we hope to see you for Popcorn Pickup this Friday and Saturday!
