In the spring of 2023, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam will open its doors to the largest Vermeer exhibition in history.

With loans from across the world, this major retrospective will bring together Vermeer’s most famous masterpieces including Girl with a Pearl Earring, The Geographer, The Milkmaid, The Little Street, Lady Writing a Letter with her Maid, and Woman Holding a Balance.

The story of Christ’s death and resurrection has dominated western culture for the past 2000 years. It is perhaps the most significant historical event of all time, as recounted by the gospels but, equally, as depicted by the greatest artists in history.

“The apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree with this latest film from Exhibition on Screen, the long-running series of gallery films. The Artist’s Garden: American Impressionism follows releases from the company that draw on horticulture and impressionism such as Painting the Modern Garden: Monet to Matisse and I, Claude Monet.
