New this weekend at the Playhouse is the little indie gem of a film, The Tobacconist. Veteran actor, Bruno Ganz (in his last role, sadly) plays Sigmund Freud in this coming-of-age story set against a stunning & stark WW2 Austrian backdrop. If European settings are what you crave, Liam Neeson in the family drama, Made in Italy also continues this week.

"Be Excellent to Each other" is the lasting sentiment from the iconic late-80s early 90s Bill & Ted franchise. That message has not changed as we open the latest edition to the series, Bill & Ted Face the Music, this Friday. Train to Busan was an international hit when it came out in 2016, and this weekend we're happy to bring you the highly-anticipated sequel, Train to Busan: Peninsula. Korean horror? It's the best. Don't miss it on the big screen starting this weekend.

Edgar Wright's cult-classic 'Toronto' film, ripped directly from the exemplary graphic novel, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, screens this weekend, too. Perfect for a trip back to the early 2010s. Get tickets!  

Music! Remember live music? This is the next best thing, for now... Two wonderful music films screen with us this week, including Andre Rieu's Magical Maastricht: Together in Music + the legendary jazz film from the 1950s, Jazz on a Summer's Day.
