First, the big news! We RE-OPEN on Tuesday, February 1st!
THE TRAGEDY OF MACBETH, HOUSE OF GUCCI and NIGHTMARE ALLEY get us started, and then on Feb 4th we premiere RED ROCKET (from Sean Baker, the director of the wonderful Florida Project). Other new films coming very soon include Oscar-contenders FLEE, DRIVE MY CAR and (new to the Playhouse) BELFAST. We have many more films booked and over the next while we'll get those showtimes posted.
POPCORN PICKUP continues every Friday and Saturday!
Stop by between 5PM and 9PM for hot buttered popcorn and all your favourite cinema snacks (including craft beer and select coolers.)
Restrictions upon re-opening means we must reduce our capacity by 50% and snacks may not be consumed on site. Not being able to sell snacks is a financial blow, so supporting Popcorn Pickup is greatly appreciated. We will keep it going every Friday and Saturday during the current restrictions.
Consider carrying your Playhouse merchandise and tasty cinema snacks home with a Playhouse Tote Bag designed by Canadian cartoonist David Collier! Just $20, and available at our merch store!
We are SO looking forward to re-opening for you on Feb 1st! Tickets are on sale now for the following films (including our Valentine's film on Feb 14, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS.)
Please be reminded that when coming to see movies, you must show your vaccine certificate with scannable QR code, as well as a photo ID. Thanks!
See you for movies next week, and we hope to see you for Popcorn Pickup on Friday and Saturday!
