If you didn't get a ticket for Cinema Paradiso and really want to see it, we will have a rush line (no guarantees, but it might be worth a shot!) The movie starts at 6:45. This movie isn't the only one we'll be showing: we have lots of great movies on tap, including the multiple Oscar-nominated Polish romantic drama, Cold War. Friday's screening will start at 9:30.

Rounding out the week you will find The Wife, starring Glenn Close in an Oscar-nominated performance as the talented spouse of a Nobel prize recipient; Free Solo, the Oscar-winner for Best Documentary Feature that will leave you amazed at the feat of one determined climber; the Palme d'Or winning drama, Shoplifters, from Japanese auteur Hirokazu Kore-eda; the 2019 Oscar-Nominated Animated Shorts (exclusive to the Playhouse -- watch for the Live Action Shorts next week) and added matinees of Best Picture winner Green Book.
