Remembrance Day is next week and we're reflecting at the Playhouse with a screening of Kubrick's anti-war film, Paths of Glory. Screening again on Sunday the 14th.

Looking ahead to next week-ish... We have a very special event coming up on the 9th with Epic Books! It's the fascinating story of a century-old wilderness legend from the Labrador wild of an unknown creature and Shoalts's attempt to unravel it.

We are hiring! Playhouse Cinema is looking to expand our team with the addition of a part-time concession manager position. The position will offer 3 shifts per week and approximately 15 hours per week, with the opportunity for extra shifts. Primary responsibilities are to welcome and serve guests, and to provide a clean and safe cinema environment, in addition to keyholder opening & closing duties.
