Our movie poster auction starts today (exciting!) and today we also are launching our first-ever SEAT SALE! Many people have asked how they can help out during this devastating year, and this is one significant way: by donating $250, you can get your name (or the name of a friend) on a seat of your choice. Better yet, if we raise enough funds, we can upgrade the seats, too. 

For years we have talked about our poster "vault" -- sometimes referred to as "the retirement fund", but now we're calling it "COVID relief"! The rainy day has arrived. For decades we've been collecting posters, but now it's time to let them go.

Fa la la la la.... la la la laaaaaa! The Holidays are Here! The Princess may be temporarily closed for movies while Waterloo Region is in Red, but we're open for shopping.

Until further notice, the Princess will be temporarily closed in accordance with Waterloo Region being moved into the public health measure, Control - RED.

The Princess Cinemas may be temporarily closed, but that doesn't mean you can't see films on the big screen this holiday season! 

Beginning March 21, 2022, the province of Ontario has lifted mask-mandate policies in most settings that are not high-risk. While our staff will continue wearing masks while serving customers at this time, we will not impose mask mandates on guests, recognizing that most guests will choose to continue wearing masks for the time being. We maintain our enhanced cleaning protocols, improved HVAC and air filtration and hand-sanitizing stations throughout the cinemas and will continue to look to the Chief Medical Officers of Health at all levels of government for guidance.

On Nov. 16, Waterloo Region was moved into 'Orange - Restrict' by the province. Please read our note regarding the added safety measures we have put in place in compliance with public health.
